Why Should I attend this conference?

Inclusive Education means that all children and young people attend and are welcomed by their neighbourhood schools in age -appropriate, regular classes and are supported to learn, contribute and participate in all aspects of the school.

Inclusive schooling is an educational movement that stresses interdependence  and independence, views all children and young people as capable, and values a sense of community.  You are part of this movement and we can all do more.  This conference will help you to do this!

The reality of the two statements is not always easy. Capacity to deal with the pressures of supporting pupils with SEND (including those with challenging behaviours) is vital if teachers, SENCos and associated professionals are going to be at the top of their game.

Our Inclusion Conference Educating Bracknell Forest will explore removing the barriers often associated with inclusion and consider the well-being of children, young people and staff working in schools.

  • we will look at learners; helping us understand why pupils might behave as they do.

  • we will look at leaders and teachers; ensuring they have the resilience needed to work objectively and effectively to sustain themselves over the school year when the pressure is on.

A range of leading experts in this field will be contributing to our conference.

What will I get from the conference?
